Connect Cognism with Bullhorn to export Leads, Contacts, Candidates, and Companies directly into your Bullhorn CRM.
The Cognism Bullhorn integration allows users to export prospect and company data from the Cognism Sales Intelligence Platform into Bullhorn. The integration can create new records, update existing records, and populate Bullhorn fields using configurable field mappings.
Bullhorn is a CRM and applicant tracking system (ATS) designed for recruitment and staffing organisations. With the Cognism integration, recruiters and business development teams can enrich Bullhorn with verified contact and company data without manual data entry.
What you can do with the integration
After connecting Bullhorn, you can:
- Export Leads, Contacts, Candidates, and Companies.
- Create new Bullhorn records.
- Update existing records.
- Configure field mappings.
- Configure update behaviour.
- Export records directly from the Cognism Web Application.
Compatibility
The Bullhorn integration supports the following editions:
- Team
- Corporate
- Enterprise
- Enterprise Plus
To use the integration, your Bullhorn subscription must also include the Leads and Opportunities paid add-on. Without this add-on, the integration and field mappings are unavailable.
How matching works
Before creating a new record, Cognism checks Bullhorn for existing matches.
Leads, Contacts and Candidates
Records are matched using:
- Cognism ID (if mapped)
- Email address
- First Name + Last Name + Company Name + Company City
- First Name + Last Name + Normalized Company Name + Company City
- First Name + Last Name + Company Name
- First Name + Last Name + Normalized Company Name
Companies
Companies are matched using:
- Cognism ID (if mapped)
- LinkedIn URL (if mapped)
- Company domain
- Company Name + City
- Normalized Company Name + City
- Company Name
- Normalized Company Name
If a matching record is found, Cognism updates the existing record according to your configured export settings.
Supported field types
The Bullhorn integration supports mapping the following field types:
- String
- Integer
- BigDecimal
- Double
- Boolean
- Timestamp
Unsupported field types, such as reference fields, association fields, or unsupported custom field types, cannot be mapped and will not appear in the field mapping list.
Where the integration can be used
Once configured, the Bullhorn integration is available from the Cognism Web Application.
All integration settings, including field mappings and export behaviour, are managed centrally within the Cognism Web Application.
