A Diamond contact has had their mobile phone number manually verified by Cognism's research team, providing an additional level of confidence in the accuracy of the contact information.

What is Diamond Data?

A Diamond contact is a contact whose mobile phone number has been manually verified by Cognism.

Diamond mobile numbers are:

• Phone verified by Cognism's research team.
• Re-verified approximately every 18 months to maintain data quality.
• Identified throughout the platform by the Diamond icon.

Diamond verification helps reduce incorrect numbers and improves the likelihood of reaching the intended contact.

Find Diamond Contacts

You can search specifically for Diamond-verified contacts.

1. Open Prospector.
2. Expand the Contact Data Quality filters.
3. Enable Diamond Contacts Only.

Your search results will only include contacts with Diamond-verified mobile numbers.

Diamond contacts are identified by the Diamond icon in both the Web App and Chrome Extension.

What is Diamond-on-Demand?

Diamond-on-Demand allows you to request manual verification for individual contacts that are especially important to your prospecting efforts.

When a request is submitted, Cognism's research team attempts to verify or improve the contact's mobile phone information.

This is useful when:

• A key prospect does not already have Diamond verification.
• You want the highest possible confidence in a contact's mobile number before outreach.

Request Diamond Verification

To request Diamond verification:

1. Open the contact's profile.
2. Click Diamond Verify.
3. Confirm the request.

A confirmation message appears once the request has been submitted.

You can monitor the progress of your requests from the Diamond Data page under Data Reporting.

Diamond Verification Statuses

Each request results in one of the following outcomes.

Diamond Verified

The contact's mobile phone number has been successfully verified and now meets Diamond quality standards.

Improved

Additional or updated contact information was found, such as a new mobile number, but it could not be verified to Diamond standards.

No Improvement

No additional contact information could be found or verified for the requested contact.

Does every contact have Diamond Data?

No. Only contacts whose mobile numbers have been manually verified by Cognism display the Diamond icon.

Can I request Diamond verification for any contact?

Yes, provided your subscription includes the Diamond package.

Why wasn't my contact Diamond Verified?

Verification results depend on the availability and quality of data for that contact.

If a number cannot be verified to Diamond standards, the result may be Improved or No Improvement instead.

What does "Improved" mean?

Improved means Cognism found additional or newer contact information but could not manually verify it to Diamond standards.

Are Diamond success rates the same for every country?

No. Verification success rates vary by region depending on the availability and quality of source data.

As an example, UK contacts typically have Diamond verification rates of around 10–15%, while US contacts are generally around 15–20%. Actual results may vary.
