From LinkedIn contact and company pages, you can review available contact information, explore company insights, and export records directly to your connected CRM or Sales Engagement Platform (SEP).

Before You Begin

Before using the extension with LinkedIn, ensure that:

• The Cognism Chrome Extension is installed.
• You are signed in to the extension.
• You are signed in to LinkedIn.

Open the Extension

To use the extension:

1. Open LinkedIn in Google Chrome.
2. Navigate to a person or company profile.

If Auto-open Extension is enabled, the Cognism panel opens automatically.

If it doesn't, click the Cognism icon in your Chrome toolbar.

The extension opens alongside the LinkedIn page.

View Contact Information

When viewing a LinkedIn profile, the extension displays available Cognism contact data, which may include:

• Business email addresses
• Mobile phone numbers
• Job title
• Company information
• Contact location

If certain information isn't available, the extension indicates which data points are unavailable.

View Company Information

When viewing a LinkedIn company page, the extension displays available company insights, including:

• Company size
• Industry
• Headquarters location
• Revenue range
• Technologies used by the company

This information helps you determine whether the company matches your target customer profile.

Export Contacts and Companies

You can export contacts and companies directly from LinkedIn.

To export a record:

1. Open a LinkedIn person or company profile.
2. Open the Cognism Chrome Extension.
3. Click Export.
4. Select your connected CRM or Sales Engagement Platform, if prompted.
5. Confirm the export.

The selected record is exported using your configured integration.

Troubleshooting

The Extension Doesn't Open

If the Cognism panel doesn't appear:

Contact Information Isn't Available

Not every profile contains every available data point.
