The Cognism Chrome Extension allows you to access Cognism contact and company data while browsing LinkedIn, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other supported websites.

This guide explains how to install the extension, sign in, and verify that it has been installed successfully.

Before You Begin

Before installing the extension, ensure that:

• You are using Google Chrome.
• You have an active Cognism account.
• You have permission to install browser extensions on your device.

Install the Chrome Extension

To install the Cognism Chrome Extension:

1. Open Google Chrome.
2. Navigate to the Chrome Web Store.
3. Search for Cognism Chrome Extension - Premium Sales Intelligence.
4. Select the extension from the search results.
5. Click Add to Chrome.
6. When prompted, click Add extension.

Chrome downloads and installs the extension automatically.

Pin the Extension

Pinning the extension makes it easier to access while browsing.

1. Click the Extensions icon in the Chrome toolbar.
2. Locate Cognism.
3. Click the Pin icon.

The Cognism icon now appears in your browser toolbar.

Sign In

To connect the extension to your Cognism account:

1. Click the Cognism icon in the Chrome toolbar.
2. Enter your Cognism email address and password.
3. Click Sign In.

Once signed in, the extension is ready to use.

Verify the Installation

To confirm that the extension has been installed correctly:

1. Open LinkedIn or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
2. Open a company or contact profile.
3. If the extension does not open automatically, click the Cognism icon in your browser toolbar.

If the installation was successful, the extension displays available Cognism company and contact data.

Troubleshooting

I Can't See the Extension

If the Cognism icon isn't visible:

• Click the Extensions icon in Chrome.
• Verify that the Cognism extension is installed.
• Pin the extension to your toolbar.

I Can't Sign In

If you're unable to sign in:

• Verify that you're using the correct Cognism email address and password.
• Confirm that your Cognism account is active.
• If you're using Single Sign-On (SSO), sign in using your configured authentication method.

The Extension Doesn't Appear on LinkedIn

If the extension doesn't appear on supported websites:

• Refresh the page.
