The Cognism Chrome Extension integrates with LinkedIn Recruiter, allowing you to access Cognism contact and company data while reviewing candidate profiles and companies.

From candidate and company pages, you can view available contact information, explore company insights, and export records to your connected CRM or Sales Engagement Platform (SEP).

Before You Begin

Before using the extension with LinkedIn Recruiter, ensure that:

• The Cognism Chrome Extension is installed.
• You are signed in to the extension.
• You have access to LinkedIn Recruiter.

Open the Extension

To use the extension:

1. Open LinkedIn Recruiter in Google Chrome.
2. Navigate to a candidate or company page.

If Auto-open Extension is enabled, the Cognism panel opens automatically.

If it doesn't, click the Cognism icon in your Chrome toolbar.

The extension opens alongside the LinkedIn Recruiter page.

View Candidate Information

When viewing a candidate profile, the extension displays available Cognism contact data, including:

• Business email addresses
• Mobile phone numbers
• Current job title
• Company information
• Contact location

If certain information is unavailable, the extension indicates which data points are not currently available.

View Company Information

When viewing a company, the extension displays company insights such as:

• Company size
• Industry
• Headquarters location
• Revenue range
• Technologies used by the company

These insights help you understand the organisation associated with the candidate and support more informed prospecting or outreach.

Export Records

You can export records directly from LinkedIn Recruiter.

To export a record:

1. Open the candidate or company page.
2. Open the Cognism Chrome Extension.
3. Click Export.
4. Select your connected CRM or Sales Engagement Platform, if prompted.
5. Confirm the export.

The selected record is exported to your connected integration.

Troubleshooting

The Extension Doesn't Open

If the Cognism panel doesn't appear:

• Refresh the LinkedIn Recruiter page.
• Confirm that you're signed in to the extension.
• Click the Cognism icon in your Chrome toolbar.
• Ensure the extension is enabled in Chrome.

Contact Information Isn't Available

Not every record contains every available data point.

If an email address or mobile phone number isn't displayed, the extension indicates that the information is currently unavailable for that individual.

Export Isn't Working

If you can't export records:

• Verify that your CRM or Sales Engagement Platform integration is connected.
• Confirm that you have permission to export to the selected integration.
• Refresh the page and try again.
